“Picked this up at Orlando store and was quite pleased with the sturdy construction. I carry two ECV's on the back of either an Edge or Escape. The carrier weighs in at less than 65 pounds and my ECV wheels do not fall in between the slats, so it is very easy for a 70+ man to load them. This carrier is better than the other tool store flimsy aluminum and plastic kit in a box that has large spacing in the thin slats for the ECV wheel to get caught. Also, far out classes online stores like e-tailer for cost and availability.”

“This works great for getting some extra storage space for camping and road trips. Just throw your cooler and maybe a plastic crate or two on the hauler, and strap them down, and you've just added a significant amount of storage space to your trip. Seems well made and durable. One tip: do not snug down the nuts and bolts until all bolts are in place - you need a little flex to get some bolts in. Also, wish the hitch pin was about an 1/8' longer - though it fits, it's super snug to put the cotter pin on.”

“I was surprised by the solid construction! I've been using it for camping trips. No issues of any kinds. I used to have the large 60x24 Curt hitch carrier, so I feel like I have a good reference point. However, I love that its light enough to easily move and with the smaller frame size is easier to wrap your arms around for getting it in and out of the garage. My old Curt carrier was larger, and it was a bit bulkier, this one is just right for my setup. Hard to go wrong for the price!!”

“We bought this for my husband to use for his paramotor on a whim. Incredibly sturdy and well built, it has no issues supporting the motor and gas tank on a regular basis. Why we really love this? We live near Fayetteville NC which is like chancing death every time you get behind the wheel. Despite his truck being large enough to run over the aggressive drivers of Fayettenam and visible from a mile away, we have been rear ended twice with this basket attached while we were at red lights. Both times despite the at fault party having considerable dents from running into the basket we've had no damage whatsoever. No damage to the truck, the hitch, and to our astonishment not even scratches to the bumper. We also have taken it through some sketchy terrain to get to coveted fishing spots that only prove mediocre. In one instance when we forgot the basket was on the weight of the back of the truck was purely on this magical basket after we dropped off a trail and STILL NO DAMAGE. This basket has proven worth the money 10 times over at this point. So stop scrolling these reviews and go buy it!”
